Summary: The museum is located in Cremona. If you have any interest in Violins then this is worth a visit. Of course there is a Stradivarius violin on display amongst many others. The display shows a nice history of the instrument and how it developed e.g. The modern bow was only developed in the 1700s. The international Triennale Violin making competition is held here. It's great to see the retention of these skills and their recognition.

Summary: Very interesting museum with lots to see. Quite busy but big enough to not get in the way whilst you tour around. Some lovely exhibits.

Summary: I’m not a violin player but I recognise craftsmanship, in fact it’s more like art. I’d wanted to see the museum for a long time and it was spectacular.
